  The Space Needle, singular Seattle landmark, is a big tourist attraction. With an observation deck, restaurant and cocktail bar located inside, it remains a prominent draw. The Needle can be reached by a 90-second monorail ride from downtown's Westlake shopping center. The Seattle Center originally built as the United States Science Pavilion during the Seattle World Fair of 1962, now is a 74-acre complex housing the Seattle Opera, Seattle Repertory, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Pacific Science Center and is a key arena for exhibits, laser shows, community events and camps.

The Seattle Waterfront has rows of piers extending into Elliot Bay having shops and restaurants lined along. Tourists are attracted here to see ferries, freighters and naval vessels. Constant activity goes on along the promenade and you could enjoy harbor tours, island cruises or fishing excursions.

The Waterfront Streetcar rolls along from Pier 70 to close by tourist attractions like the aquarium, theatres and shopping places.

Seattle tourist attractions include Pike Place Market, Woodland Park Zoo, Seattle Art Museum, Washington Park Arboretum and the Museum of Flight.
